Breezy in Scarlino for the start of the 11th RC44 Worlds - Day One was blown out with 30 knot winds which has dropped slightly allowing the teams to get out and battle for the title. Partly due to the difficult-to-read conditions, partly due to the intense competition between the nine boats, it was a high scoring opening to the World Championship. But most incredibly after three races, and with a potential 27 points on the table, just one point separates the top seven boats and two points the top eight in the nine boat fleet. (CC Available)
