Super Sunday certainly lived up to the hype at the Louis Vuitton America's Cup in Portsmouth. Three races in front of a packed crowd on the infamous Solent where GBR have never won against the USA since 1851 when Queen Victoria reigned. Race 1 - Land Rover BAR screamed off the start line and left the fleet in their wake to take first blood. Race 2 - Spithill's Oracle Team USA took control of Sir Ben at the start so all even for the last battle. Commentators were franctically working out the maths on who had to finish where and all of the teams on the water were too. Spithill lead, Ainslie second and Ashby third with a fast approaching Barker for Japan - all BAR needed was second place to win overall and closed out the event with a huge roar from the local supporters. Ashby picked up a lobster pot which left SoftBank Team Japan to pick up a place for third. Great interviews with many of the skippers and Ellie Meopham (VRsport.tv Reporter).
