Another long day on the water due to shifty airs. Today saw wind speeds across the course ranging from 3-25 knots with a few wipe outs occurring as the day went on. Unfortunately another injury occurred this time with Tayla Reitman and Lachlan White, when Tayla's trapeze wire snapped hitting Lachlan in the eye. After seeing an eye specialist it's become apparent that they will sadly have to retire from the event. Jack Felsenthal & Shaun Connor still have a comfortable lead as we move on to the rest day sitting on 12 points, followed by Daniel & Nathan Van Kerckhof who have 19 points.

A second day of high winds confined Viper Worlds crews to another long wait at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club in Victoria, Australia, before the decision was made at 1500hrs to postpone racing until Sunday January 15, the final day of the world championship.
