The wind unexpectedly came in allowing for three races and became the final day due to storms on Day Six - this left the overnight leader Pavlos Kontides taking the 2017 Laser Standard World Championship. Two Australians followed in Silver and Bronze - Tom Burton and Matthew Wearn. The 2017 Laser Standard Worlds were held at the Sailing Club Mornar in the beautiful coastal town of Split in Croatia.
