The Main Event - Simply put it was a 'Ripper' - Perth Dinghy Sailing Club put on a show to remember for all of the I14 sailors. Fluky winds on the final day but the overall leading pack managed to navigate around the lulls but today was also about the 'midfleet' with plenty of coverage for the skiff boys and girls that don't just make up the numbers - they are the heart and soul of the racing and also the classic banter onshore. The Brits took all of the podium places but the Aussies, Yanks, Canucks and the racers from the Land of the Rising Sun gave them plenty to contend with alongside the Swan River (which isn't always flat)!
