Winds had abated after the storm off the Cote d’Azur, but sadly the sea state on the Rade de Toulon was considered too large for the nimble flying catamarans to race safely on Day One of the GC32 TPM Med Cup.

Star on Day Two was unquestionably Sir Ben Ainslie and his America’s Cup crew on board INEOS TEAM UK. The British team won three consecutive races of five, coming second in the remaining two.
On the penultimate day of the GC32 TPM Med Cup, Franck Cammas’ NORAUTO powered by Team France fought back to second place overall after a disappointing Friday when they were crippled by a broken foil.
Sir Ben Ainslie’s INEOS Team UK prevailed, beating Franck Cammas’ NORAUTO to the top spot by 13 points after ten races. Impressively the British team never finished a race off the podium.
