There were three races today for the 58 boats taking part in the 'Off the Beach' series at Festival of Sails. The breeze built throughout the day to a 14 knot max, remaining gusty with big shifts so was a difficult day to pick for the boats, ranging from the Hansa 303 and Cadets at the smaller end to 49ers and Waszps at the fast end. The most competitive fleet is the OK Dinghy with 13 competitiors, sharing 23 National titles and one World title between them. Saskia Clark caught up with current OK leader Roger Blasse and Thomas Alexander/ Louis Schofield transitioning to the 49er from their 29er.
