The crew of the Maxi Edmond de Rothschild left the pontoon at their base in Lorient at 9:37 pm after a quick goodbye in the frost of this early autumn night. Franck Cammas, Charles Caudrelier, Erwan Israël, Yann Riou, Morgan Lagravière and David Boileau started their campaign to break the Jules Verne Trophy record at 3am.
