Dun Laoghaire can be a tricky place to sail with the variable wind and tide - the third day of the 2019 Flying Fifteen Worlds was no exception. It certainly was a memorable day for the Apthorp family with son, Charlie, beating his dad, Charles, to first place in Race Four, crewing for Ashley Smith (AUS 3972). Much lighter winds for the final race with only the first 20 boats managing to finish before the time limit closed on the rest of the 50+ fleet - time for a pint of the 'Black Stuff'!
