The UK 29er Class held their first Sprint Finals at Grafham Water Sailing Club with over 30 teams competing. The format was for close and fast action but the weather thought otherwise with a light and changeable breeze but the sailors, race management and jury officers worked hard to complete a full day on Saturday for all fleets. Unfortunately the breeze fell to nothing on the second day and racing was cancelled leaving the results standing overnight. The Sprint style event proved a success with the competitors and looks likely to be a permanent addition into their race calendar.
