New Series - For many, wooden boat building is a strange and mysterious art performed by a few specialists. They may be right as wood has been replaced by fibreglass, GRP and carbon for the majority of sea going vessels. But there is a resurgence in a few pockets around the British Isles with Pioneer Sailing Trust taking up the mantle in a small coastal town, Brightlingsea in Essex.
