Patience was the key today as the morning's light easterly faded to nothing, replaced by an extremely hot and gusty North Westerly. The Cruising divisions left Corio Bay early, in 3 knots, heading upwind to the Outer Harbour, where the Rating 1 and 2 Classes were enjoying a 10 knot Easterly. The Inner Courses finally got racing underway mid afternoon with the new breeze 180 degrees different from what was on outside course.
