The Barcolana is one of those 'bucket list' events for any yachty - it set the world record in 2018 at its 50th regatta with 2869 yachts starting. The two main contenders were the 2021 Defender, Arca and Deep Blue, the Challenger. Short course for these maxis and they match raced each other around the 14 kilometre course set in the Gulf of Trieste.
