Waszp

6 Seasons

The WASZP is the largest one design foiler on the market, with over 400 boats sold in over 30 countries all around the world.

Andrew McDougall, the designer of the world beating MACH 2 foiling moth, conceived the concept in 2010.

The major difference being that the WASZP is a strict one-design boat controlled by the manufacturer, meaning that sailors can compete against the best in the world on a level playing field. Every boat is identical and the best sailor will win, moving away from the “arms race” that can become of development classes.

WASZP sailing is as much about the lifestyle as it is the sailing. Taking a lot from windsurf and surf culture by becoming a sensational boat to just have fun with. There is international level competition highlighted by the WASZP International Games and it is also a fantastic boat to just get a few friends together and go sailing anywhere, anytime.
