Final Day of the 2017 Star Class World Champs hosted by Troense Baade Laug, Denmark. The last race was won by Hubert Merkelbach and Brian Fatih (GER8446) picking up their first win of the regatta. But the overall standings went to the Norwegian skipper, Eivind Melleby and American crew, Joshua Revkin, who lead for most of the Worlds with consistent finishes throughout being awarded the Paul Elvstrøm Trophy. The other podium positions were tightly contested with 2nd and 3rd on 20 points each - Grael/Goncalves (BRA8474), collecting second overall and Schmidt/ Sradnick (GER8427) third on count backs.
