The 8th Normandy Channel Race is one of the major races of the Class 40 circuit. The 1,000 mile course takes the fleet into the English Channel, Celtic and Irish Seas, around St. Marcouf Islands, the Isle of Wight, Tuskar and Fastnet rocks, Guernsey and the Raz Blanchard. The success of this double-handed race is partially due to a course where tactics and strategy are essential elements!
